Introduction of the internet :
Internet is the interconnection of millions of computer in the world by which people can share their resources from one computer to another computer. They are connected to each other by lines, cables, satellite, and wireless connection to the world wide web. They are globally connected to each other. Internet is a set of rules called TCP/IP. The Internet has been the main source in different fields like Education, Science, research, and others to develop, design and do many other things
History of the internet:
Vinton serf is the father of the internet because of his invention of TCP/IP protocol. Internet was originated from the computer network in the ARPAnet project in America. The original aim was to create a network that would allow users of a research computer at one university to "talk to" research computers at other universities. A side benefit of ARPANet's design was that, because messages could be routed or rerouted in more than one direction, the network could continue to function even if parts of it were destroyed in the event of a military attack or other disasters. The ARPANET was used earlier as a networking technology for first electronic mail messaging service. Finally ARPANET became the Internet which works on multiple independent networks with its network architecture design. The packet switching method also introduced between networks that makes data communication from one place to another easy.
How does internet work:
To get access to the internet first you have to take connection with ISP(Internet Service Provider) .ISP is a company which provides us internet service by charging some dues. They charge dues for the maintenance of wires which are connected to the whole over the world. There is no one owner of the internet. In the world, there is many organization who are providing internet service to the public by taking some charge. You can see submarin cables in the whole world which are connected to each other regulated by many organization. Internet works on TCP/IP protocol rules which govern all data sharing from one computer to another one.WWW (World Wide Web )connects all website by using hyperlinks.
Use of the internet:
There are many uses of the internet some of them are :
- Using Internet we can communicate with other by using different social media such as facebook, twitter and so on.
- There are many e-commerce websites on the internet. They provide buying and selling goods service online.
- Using internet we can share data, information from any place of the world to other place.
